bombshell
the past several days in Nashville have been difficult ones. while my home only sustained minimal damages, i watched friends, acquaintances, and strangers lose much. some lost everything.
i’ve also watched a community come together like no community ever has. leadership, volunteers, service workers… amazing cohesion and spirit. landmarks and homes may never be the same, but that’s not what this town is about.
i wasn’t born here and i don’t know if i’ll live the rest of my life here, though i can’t imagine being anywhere else, but i know Nashville will always be home.
